Start a Rachel's Vineyard

How Do You Start A New Rachel’s Vineyard Retreat Site?

1.      For those who have participated in any way in an abortion, the first step in exploring whether God is calling you is to experience the Rachel’s Vineyard Retreat.  Your own healing must be the first step in this discernment process.  Our recommendation is not to pursue any leadership role until at least 6months to a year after your initial weekend.  Stay involved with the site where you attended your weekend, if possible.  Attend support meetings and offer to help in even small ways. All this will prepare you for the time when you are ready to become a new site leader.  Next contact our New Retreat Site Coordinator Michelle Krystofik: newsite@rachelsvineyard.org

2.      If you have not experienced an abortion but want to learn more about bringing a Rachel’s Vineyard Retreat to your area, please contact Michelle Krystofik: newsite@rachelsvineyard.org You must also attend and fully participate in a weekend retreat as the initial step in your discernment. She will assist you in the first steps of this process and connect you with retreat sites approved to host future facilitators.

3.      Consider attending a clinical training.  You can find the latest events here: http://www.rachelsvineyard.org/training/clinical.htm

4.      As the registration process unfolds, you will receive a packet of information via e-mail, which spells out the remaining criteria for becoming a site leader.  Once approved you will be assigned a mentor, an experienced site leader who can help you get your site up and running.  The RV National Office and New Site Coordinator will also be available to help you at any time.
